Distance Learning Program

The Lighthouse Childcare Center distant learning program is designed to provide a safe and caring environment for elementary students whose parents work and are choosing not to send their child(ren) to public school. Our mission is to provide an atmosphere of love and acceptance for every child in our care, just as our Lord has provided for each one of us. Our goal is to educate the mind, body and spirit of each child - by providing a loving, caring, and nurturing faith-based environment.

Our staff will provide monitoring of the school work being provided by the student(s) public school teacher. All parents are responsible for their child(s) education as we are not replacing their teachers or providing specific education instruction.

Laptops/Ipads, etc. are not provided by LCC and must be provided by each parent. Each child is responsible for their own equipment and needs to come into the center labeled. LCC assumes no responsibility for items being brought from home to assist in distance learning. LCC is not able to monitor online behavior of students, so we ask for a family partnership to ensure appropriate use of technology.
